I have been helping people with their technology all my life. I began programming computers at a young age, and became tech support for friends and family members. Following a certain destiny which began with my first Apple II computer from 1978, I became a quality engineer for Apple Computer. Later, I moved to New York and worked as a manager and developer for the web site of Sotheby's auction house.
I chose to consult when I found that my sympathy for computer users meant I had something to offer over many "technology professionals" who leave their clients feeling helpless. Some talk about what they do in a language familiar only to other computer people. Some have no enthusiasm for computers, so they respond to problems halfheartedly. Many like to conceal their knowledge from their clients, thinking this will make them indispensable. Plenty are simply overworked, making them unavailable, and others are simply uninformed.
Unlike these consultants, it is my sincere desire to have you be happy with your technology and my work. As I have developed my business, I have also developed a philosophy for my work, which is:
- Listen carefully to my client's needs and provide the best solutions for those needs.
- Explain my work in as much or as little detail as my client desires.
- Be straightforward about the work I am doing and whether I am the best person to be doing it.
I am satisfied only when I know my work is complete and my client is pleased with it, and I am proud of the ongoing client relationships which I have created by following the above principles. I am happy to provide client references.
I look forward to working with you!
